Easy to Care For, No Teflon

I wanted a bundt pan with no teflon, and it's hard to find cookware without it. I own pet birds, and teflon fumes can be toxic to them. Teflon also scratches off easily. This aluminum pan is free of those chemical worries. I've made one cake so far, but it didn't turn out because my baking soda was old. I used a canola-oil spray and flour in the pan and the finished cake slid out very easily and didn't break up at all. I only gave the pan 4 stars because the edges of the pan are a bit rough and I would have preferred rounded edges. However, this doesn't detract from the pan's usefulness; but I'm a bit of a klutz and afraid I might cut myself if I reach into the pantry and grab the pan by its edges. For the price, I would recommend this pan over the more expensive nonstick pans.

The cake pan was in pretty good condition when received. Most important, it had directions, diagrams, and coloring hints (with other optional uses for the pan) in the package. Needed this in a short noticed for my mother who wanted to make a grandsons' birthday cake...it turned out great! Perhaps a little pricey, but was worth it for its use.

All my bundt pans are from Nordic Ware, ALL! I have not been disappointed in a single pan. This heart shaped one is no exception, I made a delicious chocolate cake and the detail was amazing. If you experience sticking, be sure you are using a good recipe. Using a cake box mix in one of these pans is not recommended, unless you doctor the cake box mix. Cake box mixes are meant to deliver soft, moist cakes and bundt cakes are meant to be dense. Be sure to spray and flour the pan, shake excess flour out of pan. Once you take the pan out of the oven let it cool until you can touch the pan without burning yourself and invert onto a cooling rack to finish cooling. If you let the cake cool completely it will stick. So those are some tips for those who experience sticking in a Nordic Ware pan, I never ever have and stand by the Nordic Ware. Also, all pans are made in the USA!

Bella Cake Pops & Donut Hole MakerJust tried it out, I suggest buying a pancake pen to fill the wells and a metal dipping fork to help get the balls out. I used boxed cake mix and I sprayed the machine with cooking spray before I put the first batch in and I had no problems taking the cake balls out. Each batch took around 4-5 minutes to make. I love this little machine.Second UpdateMachine still working good. It beats spending over $2.00 for a cake pop at starbucks. I prefer these cake pops instead of those that are mixed with frosting. Thinking about buying a second cake pop machine.

Let me start out by saying that maybe I just got a malfunctioning product, but it didn't bake evenly at all. About every other cake pop would be raw while the others would burn. It also didn't seem very convenient to me, by the time I made my cake batter and baked 6 pops at a time I could have done an entire 9" two layer cake (and probably gotten it half decorated). I used homemade batter, not mix, but I don't think that would have anything to do with the cooking time... it certainly doesn't change the time I bake in the oven.All in all it's a cute idea, but I think I'm going to try the cake pop pan that goes in the oven.

Received this as a gift and I love it! Works exactly as described, fill the bottom "cup" to the top with cake batter (I used duncan hines) and then cook for 6 minutes. Perfecto! I dipped mine in chocolate and covered with sprinkles for a festive holiday treat! Awesome!

I purchased this item because my old aluminum spring form pan was leaking more than ever. The description on this pan was very clear about it's leak proof properties. I made my first cake in it this morning and did not put a cookie sheet under it. It leaked all into the outside rim and came over it onto the bottom of my oven. The leak appeared to be from the base near the clasp area. Same place my old pan leaked.

bought for my kids to make a cake for Easter, the pan is not flimsy like many of those out there, this one is quite steady and can take abuse without sacrificing the shape of the cake, yet it's light enough. When not in use it serves as a great decoration on the wall in the dining room among my copper collectible pans, it is very shiny. I bought quite a few kitchen products from SCI, they all turned out to be a good quality for a reasonable price.Keep them coming!

The pan came with a slight dent, the dent did not disrupt the cake design. No instructions were included, went to Disney on-line to print directions. Thank God Disney posted directions even though they discontinued making the pan.

My daughter wanted a cinderalla cake for her birthday. This pan was a great way for her to have it. I ended up making the frosting myself rather than buying ready made. It took some time to decorate, but I thought it wasn't to hard. It was a bit difficult to get the blue coloring right but that really didn't matter in the long run.
