The gauge of steel is not heavy enough. You can pop the bottom of the pan up and down. This will cause flexing with temperature changes. Also the edges of the pan are not rolled and are a bit sharp.

I had always wanted this size pan as I have a 9 x9 stainless pan. Have gotten away from steel baking pans as they rust! This doesn't usually happen with stainless when you take care of it. Received this for Christmas and love it!
