This piece is very, very low quality. The handle on the product is deformed. It does not tighten unless I physically put the handles into the slots, and it is very, very hard to do. I will rarely if ever use this product. Would like to return it if it weren't so expensive. Otherwise it will sit in the back of the cupboard.

Even though I bought this pan because it was described as leak-proof (can't remember who made the claim; maybe Cook's Illustrated), I've found it still leaks cheesecake batter. I've made 5 cheesecakes in it since I bought it last year, and batter leaked out every time. The batter was NOT thin/soupy. It's a good, sturdy pan, but my search continues for a truly leak-proof springform pan.
