I wanted a bundt pan with no teflon, and it's hard to find cookware without it. I own pet birds, and teflon fumes can be toxic to them. Teflon also scratches off easily. This aluminum pan is free of those chemical worries. I've made one cake so far, but it didn't turn out because my baking soda was old. I used a canola-oil spray and flour in the pan and the finished cake slid out very easily and didn't break up at all. I only gave the pan 4 stars because the edges of the pan are a bit rough and I would have preferred rounded edges. However, this doesn't detract from the pan's usefulness; but I'm a bit of a klutz and afraid I might cut myself if I reach into the pantry and grab the pan by its edges. For the price, I would recommend this pan over the more expensive nonstick pans.
