I used to have these pans but that was yrs ago. I was looking for some for my daughters was so happy that you had them. Easy to get the cake out of the pans wouldn't do without them

I have been using this type of cake pan for single cakes for over 40 years because the cutter insures that your cake is going to come out easily and in one piece. BUT--cake pans are measured across the bottom, not the top. The bottoms of these pans are 7 1/2 inches. I checked them against the old pans they would be replacing and against my Wilton wedding cake pans and they are 1/2 inch smaller than all of them. This won't affect how the pans work other than having to bake your cake a couple of minutes longer than you normally do because the same amount of batter is now in a smaller area. Maybe the size of the finished cake is noticeable to me because I make so many. Just don't set this cake beside an eight inch cake made in another pan.

I washing the pan as soon as I took it out of the box and the swivel arm rivet came apart. It was barely held together. Not worth it!!!
