I received this Pikachu cake mold as a gift and really loved it. It is so unique and special! It holds the equivalent of an 8 in round cake pan worth of cake batter so you can get two Pikachu cakes with one cake mix box. This is my first silicone pan and I really love how easy it is to get the cake out!Only negative is that the entire box/instructions are in a different language (I imagine Japanese) and so I was unable to read anything that might contain care or use instructions. I was able to determine that (I think) the max temp is 160 degrees Celsius which meant that I had to lower the bake temp and lengthen the time from what is on most cake mixes- I baked at 310 Fahrenheit just to be safe and it took around 50 minutes to bake each one give or take.

I ordered this for my grandson, it is very small and way too expensive for the size, I was very dissatisfied. We kept it because I didn't have the heart to send it back as it would have broken his heart. It is NOT worth the price.

I was hoping maybe they'd be in Japanese and English, but they aren't. Because of this I haven't baked in it yet since I'm afraid of doing something wrong, but it works really well for molding ice cream, or anything else that's frozen. I'd love to try making a cake with it if someone could post English instructions!
