I purchased this adorable rabbit mold to use instead of the lamb mold for my Easter Cakes this year. Well, I ended up making the lamb cakes anyway. Only three out of 10 of the rabbits remained standing. I tried three different cake batters, used wooden skewers to help stabalize it and frosted his feet to the plate, all to no avail. I was sorely dissapointed, because the ones that did stay standing were truly adorable. They need to re-tool this mold so that the feet are wider to help balance the top. If anyone out there was successful with this mold, please tell me the secret since I would love to make him next Easter.

Rabbit cake mold produced a fun table centerpiece for Easter as well as a great dessert. Used recipe that came with cake and made chocolate ganache icing.

Difficult to get the cake out in one piece even when following the recommended procedures. Looked a few other recipes up on line still had the same problem maybe caused by the fact this mold is aluminum as compared to the iron one I used years ago and did not have issues with.
