i have been using this gingerbread house kit for ten years now they are well packaged and almost always arrive with all the pieces intact. they are easily assembled and then i have the pleasure of watching my five grandchildren decorate them. The kits come with ample supply of candy and frosting. great product, wonderful memories!

These Gingerbread House Building Kits are a great value for the money. We hold an event where children are provided with a kit and then given free rain for its construction. All you have to do is pre-mix the icing and then it's pretty much hands on from there. I recommend this to anyone planning an event for children around the holidays, as long as you're not too worried about a few stray blots of icing here and there.

Broken walls, horrible icing, teeny-tiny house
Liam Craig

We usually use another brand of Gingerbread house, but tried this one this year, what a mistake. First, two of the walls were broken right down the middle. Rather than return it (not worth the hassle), I figured I'd use the icing to put them back together.Well, the icing is a powdered mix you have to mix yourself. Oh fun, I had a kitchen full of sugar as I mixed this, and when the water was finally incorporated into the mix, it became almost unusable. I had to keep adding water to make it even vaguely pliable, and the minute it met air, it started to dry, making a challenge out of simply gluing the candies to the house. In the end, the house was super tiny. For the same price, I can get a bigger, better version in the grocery store (should have done that in the first place) that's a lot easier to work with.
