Bakes evenly but corrodes very easily

The pans are the perfect size for the very thick cakes I like to make and they heat very evenly. The downside if you try to let them soak for even a short time (1-2 hours) they start to pit, all aluminum is sensitive to corrosion but none of my other aluminum bakeware corrodes that fast.
