I was a little disappointed in the pan. After reading the product description I expected to have "complete directions". Unfortunately, if you are baking a cake it does not include the amount of time you should bake it for. I had to keep checking the cake until it was done. For those of you interested in baking a cake with this pan, I found the cake to be done at about 40 minutes. I also expected the pan "to hold approximately one cake mix". It was much smaller than I expected. I couldn't see how this pan could hold an entire cake mix, or even close. The first time I used it I put about 2/3 of the cake mix into the pan (and made cupcakes with the remaining batter). It seemed too full, but I went with it anyway. It spilled over and made a muffin on the cookie sheet I had the pan on. So the next time I put 1/2 of the cake mix in the pan and 1/2 as cupcakes. It didn't spill over, but the baking results were better when I had it overfull (due to thinner tail and wings). The pan isn't bad, I just had different expectations. I used this pan for my son's airplane themed birthday party. I made 2 airplanes. I was planning on making one big plane cake and some cupcakes. However, due to the size of the pan I ended up making two small airplanes and some cupcakes. They were cute and none of the cake was dried out. There are shaped pans that have thinner parts that always turn out dry compared to the rest of the cake. This one turned out fine throughout. Hopefully these comments will help your experience with this pan.

I really wanted to like this pan. It was broken when it came in. It is thin plastic, and I didn't even bother to send it back. When I saw how easily it was broken, although carefully packed, I realized it probably was not something I wanted.

I was a little worried using a plastic cake pan, but it was great!!! My little girls loves cows and this was her 4th birthday. She asked only for a purple cow cake. She was very happy with this cow. I would definatly buy another cake pan like this and recommed this to everyone.
